What you’ll do
This session is for people who love pizza and want to understand the basics of
good dough, without getting lost in too much theory. You’ll also make a proper
tiramisù – the kind you can bring to the table and be quietly proud of.
Start with a quick chat about flour, yeast, proofing, and home ovens
Mix and knead your own pizza dough by hand
Leave the dough to ferment while you work on your tiramisù
Prepare coffee and assemble a classic tiramisù in a shared dish
Come back to your dough, portion it, and shape your own pizza base
Top your pizza with simple, good ingredients and bake in our ovens
Enjoy your pizza fresh from the oven, followed by tiramisù – with
three drinks included through the evening
(typically one on arrival, one while you’re cooking, and one with your food).
What we make in this class
We keep the focus on getting two things right: dough and cream. This gives you
skills you can repeat confidently at home.
Handmade pizza dough using Italian flour, water, salt, and yeast
Individual pizza, topped with a simple tomato base and a choice of toppings
(usually including vegetarian options)
Classic tiramisù with Italian savoiardi biscuits, mascarpone, coffee, and eggs
Three drinks per person (wine, Prosecco, bottled beer, coffee, or soft drinks)
Toppings and exact ingredients may change slightly through the year depending on
what we’re cooking, but the idea is always the same: generous, unfussy food that
tastes like Italy.
This is a relaxed, social class. There’s a bit of dough on the
table, plenty of chatting, and that lovely moment where everyone sits down together
to eat pizza and dessert.
Who this class is for
People who love pizza and want to learn how to make it properly at home
Anyone who has always wanted to make tiramisù from scratch
Couples, friends, and small groups looking for a fun evening out

You don’t need any experience. We’ll guide you through each step and make sure
you leave feeling more confident with dough and desserts.
Questions people often ask
Is this suitable for vegetarians?
Often yes. We usually offer vegetarian toppings for the pizzas, and the tiramisù
itself is vegetarian (but not vegan). If you’re vegetarian, please let us know
when you book so we can plan toppings accordingly.
Do you cater for gluten-free or severe allergies?
Because we work with wheat flour in an open workshop, we cannot safely accommodate
coeliac guests or anyone with severe airborne allergies. This class also includes
dairy and eggs, and the tiramisù contains coffee and raw or lightly cooked eggs.
If you have specific dietary needs, please email us before booking and we’ll let
you know what’s possible.
Are the eggs safe if I’m pregnant?
We use British Lion eggs for our tiramisù. Current UK guidance says that Lion-marked
eggs are considered safe to eat raw or lightly cooked for pregnant people. However,
everyone’s circumstances are different, so if you’re pregnant or immunocompromised
you should follow the advice of your own healthcare professional when deciding
whether to eat tiramisù made with eggs that aren’t fully cooked.
What about drinks?
Your ticket includes three drinks per person – typically a choice
of wine, Prosecco, bottled beer, coffee, or soft drinks. You’re very welcome to
stick to soft drinks if you prefer not to drink alcohol, and we can keep alcohol
out of individual portions of tiramisù on request.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. Lots of our guests come by themselves and end up chatting to the
people around them. We make sure everyone is looked after and has a good time.
Is this suitable for children?
Our public classes are designed for adults. We may occasionally allow older
children (around 11+) to take part if they are keen cooks and there is an adult
working with them throughout, but please email us at hello@flourwillfly.com
before booking so we can advise. The tiramisù contains coffee and usually a small
amount of alcohol, which may not be suitable for children.
